NTDE’s Household Division was established in 1980 to serve the growing demand in consumer goods, especially in the area of home catering, household items and kitchenware.

NTDE oversaw the launch of Eagle vacuum flasks of India into the UAE market. Later, Oster blenders of the USA were added and progressively the company expanded its portfolio, dealing with around 50 companies from around the world including those in Italy, the UK and India.

Currently the Household Division represents the award-winning Hawkins pressure cookers and Prestige cookers from the UK, which is the market brand leader therein. Also included are cookware brands from Pradeep and Al-Exim from India, Lion Star from China and Tava from Iran.

The division caters to the needs of more than 1,500 retail outlets in the UAE. Its philosophy is to constantly strive to add quality and value for money products, while providing the end consumer with an improved choice.
